Biography

On November 7th, 2024, one of my favorite authors, Eric La Rocca, said: “Let’s create the angriest, queerest, most fucked up art we possibly can over the next four years… Let’s disrupt everything.” This is my mission. As the future becomes increasingly identifiable in comparison with a dark, terrible past, it will take the bold to keep pushing forward - I am one of those people. Having been born neurodivergent, queer, and female (AFAB), I've been fighting for everything I am, every moment I have been alive. I write horror, memoir, and dark fiction that is inherently political because it is part of my identity. But words must be shaped with intent, or they are just nebulous anger, a demand for recognition. My goal is not recognition. Subversion in the face of compliance is best served with the harmony of diversity. My intent is to disrupt. Different ways to say truths, that are purposefully obscured, is defiance. So, I shall meet LaRocca's challenge to the best of my ability through pointed, considered anger fueled by facts, not conjecture. My mind is forever fixed upon the queer utopian horizon and the personally political truths that exist between here and there, even in the face of suppression. Let's disrupt together.
