Author Update #5

I have been delayed in posting new material and updates based on lack of traffic on this blog. However, I am happy and encouraged to see that I now have a follower, more than just the occasional stop-in from friends and family. Thank you for following me! I appreciate this very much.

So, on to my update! It is with great excitement that I announce my second publication in the stylish, progressive, and interesting literary journal, The Cabinet of Heed Issue #42. Check it out immediately here, and be sure to look around the other authors from Issue 42 and the back issues.

My flash fiction piece is titled: “Thoughts Before I Am Sawed in Half”, it has been described as having “sardonic flair” and is heavily inspired by my life in San Diego. It was previously featured at Grossmont Community College’s “New Voices” installment highlighting promising talent of the Grossmont creative writing program, as part of their Literary Arts Festival.

I am very excited to find a home for this weird little piece, but even more excited that home was in the cabinet. I love this lit mag’s style and dedication! Thanks for your support of my work, and I hope you enjoy reading “Thoughts Before I Am Sawed in Half”.
